Shallow as Fuck, but I Enjoyed it Anyway Award:
Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel
Army of Two: the Devil’s Cartel doesn’t have a single original line of code in its body. There’s nothing here I haven’t played in 10, or perhaps 50, other games. It’s a third-person cover shooter with co-op mechanics. Aren’t those a dime a dozen these days? Despite that, I had an absolute blast playing it. Over the span of three long sittings, I finished the campaign in couch co-op with a good friend of mine. We didn’t keep our expectations too high, but we both enjoyed ourselves. I wouldn’t recommend playing this alone, but if you’ve got a friend close by, you love shooting virtual people, and love explosions, give this a shot.
