30 Days of gaming post 25 – Game you plan on playing

Considering this is my last semester in college and I’m in the middle of an 18-hour semester with my capstone, I haven’t had a chance to play video games much.

As a matter of fact, I’ve only had time to play video games three times since I stared this semester in January. Sad, isn’t it?

In short, there are a lot of games, I plan on playing after I graduate. Instead of picking one, I’ll just list them. Sorry if putting more than one game on each of these posts is cheating. If it is, sue me.

Dead Space 2 – I didn’t care for the first one, but the second one has everyone freaking out. I’m not expecting an amazing game, but I’ll definitely give it a shot.

Crysis 2 – It looks like the kind of multi-decision first-person shooter I’ve been waiting for. And it’s the prettiest game ever in the history of the world.

Homefront – Despite it being another war shooter, it looks refreshing.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution – I’m more excited about this one than any other game on the list. The first two Deus Ex games were just a hair before my time and I was never a PC gamer. Human Revolution looks amazing. Some of the team that worked on the Rainbow Six: Vegas games is developing it and those are some of my favorite shooters. Add in RPG elements, badass melee, a dialogue system and multiple ways to progress through any fight and I’m sold. This will be a day one purchase for me, for sure.

I’ll also get around to playing Portal 2. Honestly, I know it will be a great game, but I’m not terribly excited for it. I’m sure once I start actually playing it, I’ll be hooked.

Last but not least, I plan on playing Hitman 5. I know this is coming and I’m thrilled about it. I can’t wait to step into the black loafers of Agent 47 for more assassinations.
